Water FiltrationThe “All Carbon” CERAMIKX® filter combines the fine particulate reduction of a traditional ceramic filter with the chlorine, taste and odour reduction of an activated carbon filter. With 0.2 micron filtration the filter will reduce more than 99% of E. coli, Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts.
The CERAMIKX® filter is manufactured using MATRIKX® extruded activated carbon particles fused into a uniform block with enhanced adsorptive capacity and efficiency. The radial flow provides increased dirt capacity and low pressure drop. Unlike GAC filters the CERAMIKX® will not channel or by-pass due to their extruded activated carbon core. The filter fits most standard 10” housings.
